Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and proactive in identifying process improvements while maintaining a high standard of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the annual financial audit process, including preparing schedules and documentation for auditors.
  • Manage journal entries and review accounts payable/receivable transactions for accuracy.
  • Maintain organized financial records in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed to support business objectives.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accrual accounting with exposure to GAAP principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports, identify trends, and provide insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Location: Hybrid or Remote flexibility – We are seeking candidates based in, or near our Dallas, TX office as this role may require occasional in-person meetings. Or be willing to travel to Dallas as needed.
