Position Summary
The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key member of HaloMD's Total Rewards function, joining at a pivotal moment as we build our compensation infrastructure from the ground up. This role carries true ownership, from the design and analysis of our compensation programs to their administration and communication and demands someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, move fast, and drive initiatives forward without waiting to be told what to do next.
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this is not only a support role, it's a builder role. You will own projects and initiatives from start to finish, with limited day-to-day guidance and a strong expectation that you'll figure it out, bring a point of view, and deliver. From job architecture and salary structure development to market benchmarking and merit cycle execution, this role touches every corner of Total Compensation. You'll take on special projects as our programs evolve, step into new initiatives with minimal ramp time, pilot processes, and help define what best-in-class compensation looks like at HaloMD, and then build it.
This is a high-impact opportunity in a fast-scaling healthcare technology company. The ideal candidate is self-directed, energized by building something meaningful from the ground up, and brings the technical depth, analytical rigor, and strategic instincts to do it well, with limited handholding and a genuine drive to own what they build.

- Analyze compensation data to identify and flag pay compression, inversion, and equity concerns; maintain salary range structures and apply geographic differentials using market data and internal equity analysis.
- Maintain and update the compensation database ensuring accuracy and alignment with UKG and Lattice Compensation Module; support HRIS and Lattice configuration, data integrity, and process automation related to compensation.
- Administer the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) including AIP tracking, payout calculations, and letter generation; support the design and administration of sales incentive compensation plans including commission structures, quota setting, and payout calculations.
- Build and maintain compensation dashboards, ad hoc reports, and pay equity analyses for HR leadership and the executive team; monitor compensation trends, legislative changes, and market shifts.
- Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws across all 37 states of operation; maintain awareness of pay transparency legislation and support compliant practices.
- Partner with HR Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders as a compensation resource and thought partner for new hire, promotion, and transfer recommendations.
- Support global compensation inquiries and requests as needed, providing analysis and recommendations for roles outside the U.S..

- Experience supporting job architecture initiatives, including job evaluation and leveling, salary range and band development, career framework design, and ongoing maintenance of job family structures.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, data modeling, and scenario analysis; ability to build and maintain compensation tools and calculators from scratch.
